1. Core Performance Advantages

1) Low Elongation + High Tensile Stability: Polyester's elastic modulus is much higher than nylon's, resulting in low elongation after stretching. It is less prone to loosening during long-term printing, ensuring extremely high registration accuracy, making it suitable for high-precision printing on PCBs, electronic panels, etc.

2) Chemical and Environmental Resistance: Resistant to weak acids, organic solvents, and water; extremely low hygroscopicity; superior high-temperature resistance compared to nylon; less prone to deformation during outdoor or drying processes.

3) Uniform Mesh Size: Monofilament plain weave + precision setting ensures consistent openings, uniform ink transfer, and sharp edges.

High Cost-Effectiveness: Lower cost than stainless steel mesh, longer lifespan than ordinary nylon mesh, suitable for mass production.

 

2. Production Process and Standards

1) Raw Materials and Weaving: High-purity polyester monofilaments are used (to avoid uneven pore size caused by multiple filaments), with plain weave being the mainstream method; Warping → Weaving → Washing and degreasing → High-temperature heat setting (to eliminate internal stress and improve tension stability) → Slitting, inspection, and packaging;

2) Specifications: Mesh count (threads per inch) is the core, commonly 18–420 mesh/inch (7–180 mesh/cm); Supporting parameters include filament diameter (μm), mesh size, mesh thickness, open area ratio, and tension value;

3) Colors: Standard white and yellow (UV resistant, suitable for photosensitive plate making), with custom colors such as black and orange also available; Yellow mesh reduces halo during plate exposure and improves the clarity of fine lines and dots.
